Photography has been a great passion of mine, ever since I was a child. I'm a rabid enthusiast and would like to share this passion with you and later the single revelation that can supercharge your photo successes virtually overnight!

parents would buy me film. I still have some of those

even at eight years old they looked terrible to me!
They were
blurry, over-or under-exposed, had weird colors, (not to mention that
they were
horribly composed) and I wondered why. For
awhile it was easy
to blame it on my camera.
I thought
everything was wrong simply because my camera was too cheap!
And looking at the magazines of the day like, Life, Look, and National Geographic; these magazines had great photos – really beautiful photos. Certainly these photographers were far more skilled and their cameras were way way better, but even then I sensed that if forced to use my cheap little camera these pro’s would STILL get infinitely better photos than I EVER could!
So why were my photos so bad? (Why are Most People’s Photo’s SO Bad ?
I wondered...

That was THE QUESTION that stayed with me for a long time.
After purchasing a digital camera with a lot of high-tech automatic features I expected my results to be a lot better. But NO, they weren’t. I was shocked, and especially since I really felt I knew the underlying scientific principles and engineering of these cameras I thought my photos would be great! But no, my photos were probably just as bad as anyone’s who naively depended on the camera's automatic features to do all the work! So, I still had that same question on my mind.
I found the answer I wanted but it took me quite some time; a huge amount of time and money actually, not really because the answer itself was hard. I'm just very thorough and wanted to know everything both technical and artistic. What pulled it all together for me though was a revelation I had. But by then I'd developed an encyclopedic knowledge-base of tips, techniques, methods, and you name it -- everything -- on photography.
As it turns out, my big revelation to capturing outstanding photos like those in the magazines, like the pro’s, was pretty simple. After reading about the lives of a number successful people, I realized that for just about any endevour in life, if you want success, you will supercharge your progress if you do what prior successful people have done.
